GCE Exams start this week, I’m fairly lucky as I did five of mine last year, so I’ve only got three to do, English Literature, Latin and Physics with Chemistry, but I also have school exams in French, Spanish and History, so I’m going to be pretty busy during the next week or so doing some last minute swotting. Eric has quite a few exams to do but John and Pete don’t have much.
My Physics with Chem paper was yesterday afternoon, it’s all still a mystery to me, I reckon I’ll be lucky to scrape through. English Literature is tomorrow and Latin next week.
John’s Art Paper 1 was yesterday morning and he told us that he was supposed to draw something on the subject of “Travel”, so for a laugh he drew a picture of an old hunchback tramp covered in warts. I don’t know where he thinks that will get him, he should realise that just now and then it’s not a bad idea to actually answer the question instead of fooling round like he has been doing for so long. When he does all his drawings and jokes in his spoof newspaper that he passes around in school called “The Daily Howl” they are very funny.
But I don’t think he will pass his exams by making jokes. The people who mark exam papers don’t have a sense of humour.
